TRILOGY'S ROSEHIP OIL

For the past few years I've been using oil's as a way to get some extra moisture into my skin, as moisturisers don't tend to moistures my skin that well it's extremely dry and flakey, just a damn right nuisance.

My introduction to using oil on my face was with bio-oil ( I even used baby oil for a good month or two ) at first I thought it was the best thing for my skin as it left it feeling so soothed and relieved, after using it every night for a few months I started to realise my poses where getting blocked and I was getting a few spots here and there, Generally speaking I never get spots so I started to do my research as to why I was getting them I found that Bio-oil contains mineral Oil which clogs the skin and also Benzyl Salicylate which is a fragrance addictive and UV light absorber which is primarily used in perfumes and hair dye I really didn't want to me putting something on my skin that's it hair I also found that Mineral Oil to be in an awful lot of products so I set my sights on finding a good organic oil and just like that I found Rosehip oil.

Trilogy's Rosehip Oil is meant to help scars, wrinkles and uneven skin tone. Trilogy's Rosehip Oil is certified organic so there's no nasty perversities or questionable ingredients, it contains essential fatty acids such as omega 3 and 6 & 9 and vitamins which help to tackle dehydrated, ageing skin and also stretch marks and scaring.

I've been using Rosehip Oil since last summer I've found my skin has changed a great deal since then and all for the better, I find it's know longer dehydrated and it's certainly looking a lot less dry. My skin is once again clear no more congested skin for me and those horrendous Blackheads are long gone. My skin is positively radiant and so soothed.

I use the Oil every Morning and Night under my moisturiser I use three to four drops then massage it into my skin I find it sinks into the skin fairly quickly.

I would say everybody needs Rosehip Oil in the there life as it benefits for oily, noraml and dry skins, I can see why everybody loves it

You can pick it up and boots or Holland and Barrett for 20ml it's £16.50 and for 45ml £28.50

I'd love to know if you've used Rosehip Oil and what the results where for you

  1. Goodness, I didn't know that about Bio-oil. I will stop using it now...what a shame. I used it on my body and thought it was good and tried it on my face and didn't think it was that great working, but I'll refrain from using it now. Will try some rosehip :) x

  3. I have this exact same oil and love it. It took me several years to find out that oily skin needs oils too. Bio Oil can be good, but it can be too heavy on the skin on the face. Some people swear by mineral oil, but others wont go near it. I think it depends on the science of the product and what the oil is going (i.e. is it just filling space or is it actually serving a purpose). Nice blog :) Thanks for the tweet :) x

  4. I gave Rose hip oil a go recently and must say mine does have a slight smell to it but the effects are uh-mazing! The good part is the smell evaporates as soon as it is applied.
