MAC FACE & BODY FOUNDATION REVIEW

I'm going to do a review of Mac Face and Body Foundation. I've been wearing this foundation on and off for the past two years and hands down it has to be by far my favourite foundation .

Mac describe Face and Body as "A water based, water-resistant foundation that provides natural coverage for face and/or body. Ideal for all skin types face and body foundation provides sheer, natural looking coverage in an easy to blend formula and available in a wide range of colours. Contains several emollients to help moisturise and condition the skin. It delivers professional looking results that meet the exacting standards of beauty photography and is ideal for perfecting the face and body."

I really like the bottle, but but it reminds me of a PVA glue bottle. The bottle is made out off plastic which makes it a lot more particular as it has a little nozzle and all you need to do is give it a little squeeze and the foundation comes right out unlike the foundation that comes without pumps or nozzle where you find yourself shaking the bottle for ages and before you know it you've got way to much foundation on your hand/brush . With the bottle being plastic it means it's a lot lighter than glass bottles and smaller depending on what size you get. It comes in two sizes 50ml (£21.50) or 120ml (£27).  I find the 120ml to be great value for money as normally foundations are 30ml which means you're getting a lot of product for your money.

I find Face and Body foundation to be very runny to start off with, it's like water. But the minute you start  working it into the skin it gets thicker with the more movement/friction but because of this you can build it from a light coverage to a medium coverage I wouldn't recommend this foundation if you prefer a medium to full coverage as it starts off pretty sheer. Personally for me I use this foundation on days when I want a little extra coverage as I'm normally a tinted moisturiser type of gal. It comes in thirteen shades but with it being so sheer it doesn't matter so much if it's a little dark for you as it easily blends in.  I vary between C2 or C3 . The only downside to this foundation is it doesn't contain any SPF.

The main reason why I love Face and Body Foundation is because I have extremely dry skin and this causes numerous issues in trying to find a foundation that doesn't cling to my dry patches as pretty much all foundations do.  I would definitely recommend this to all my fellow dry skinned people. To me it is an amazing miracle product and I love it for the fact that it doesn't cling to my face.

I'd love to know what your favourite foundation is or what you thought of Face and Body
